Find edibles in the Mills River watershed on July 18th at 10 am with professional, Christian Marr. Location will be determined closer to the date. Registration will be capped at 20 people.

We need some help with the Summer Session 10k& & 5k! The race starts/ends at Trailside Brewing in Hendersonville, NC. Takes place on June 28th 2025.
Watershed Hike with Hemlock Restoration Initative
Join us on Friday, June 13th from 1:00pm – 4:30pm at Pink Beds Loop for a free educational hike with the Hemlock Restoration Initiative and Mills River Partnership. This 3.2-mile loop is mostly flat, with a few creek crossings and gentle inclines. The backup weather date will be June 27th at 1pm. Registration required.
Kayak Clean up byob (bring your own boat)
Volunteer to help clean a section of the Mills River with us on 6/3 at 11 am. No boats provided, you must bring your own boat to attend this event! We will meet at Mills River Park. Please RSVP to receive further details.
Birding walk April 10th
Mills River Partnership is having a birding walk with Tom Tribble from Blue Ridge Audubon Society on April 10th 9 am at Foster Creek Trail in Pisgah National Forest. Please register for the event and bring binoculars!

Volunteers will live stake banks near South Mills River Road in Mills River. Rescheduled to the back-up date January 31st. Live staking helps stabilize the banks and prevents erosion. An email will be sent with directions to those who register.

With the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, understanding our water systems is more important than ever. Participants from any county are welcome to join us. There are a limited number of spots available for this tour.
