At Mills River Partnership, we are dedicated to keeping the Mills River Watershed safe for all users. Log jams are an accumulation of wood and debris that gets caught in a mass across part or all of the river. Log jams can clear naturally on their own, however, when they don't, they can grow larger, become a serious hazard, and cause severe erosion.

A big thanks to all the folks at Mills River Partnership! We had a tree down across South Mills River that would inevitably cause serious flooding, erosion even road closure. With just an email they were right on it. Good to see an organization that can collaborate and get things done. Good job you guys.
